CHISINAU, March 10. /TASS/. The Foreign Ministry of the breakaway Transnistria region has sent a letter to the UN Security Council on behalf of President Vadim Krasnoselsky asking to push for a discussion of the foiled terrorist attack that was planned to hit Tiraspol, the ministry said on Friday.
"The letter of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic president, addressed to the permanent members of the UN Security Council, has a proposal to initiate a discussion of the thwarted terrorist attack on the platform of the organization with the purpose of agreeing on effective international measures to reduce tensions and ensure proper conditions for the security of all people of Transdnistria," the ministry said in a statement.
