MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. A magnitude 5.4 earthquake was registered on the Philippine island of Mindanao, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported Monday.

According to the report, the epicenter was located 23 km away from the city of Compostela, population 42,000. The hypocenter was 10 km deep.

No injuries or damage have been reported.
