NEW DELHI, March 2. /TASS/. Russia insists on the necessity to investigate the sabotage against the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines promptly and honestly, as well as on including the country into the investigation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday at the G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting.

"We are observing the West's provocative degradation of international economic relations and their transformation into weapons, including in the energy sphere," he said.

"We are shocked by the unpunished sabotage against the Nord Stream pipelines in the NATO and EU area of responsibility. We insist on a fair and prompt investigation into this act of terrorism with the participation of Russia and other interested parties," Lavrov pointed out.

At the same time, the top diplomat pointed out that Russia stood for ensuring energy security and access to energy resources at acceptable prices for all countries in need, as well as for elimination of unfair competition.
