Tokyo clarifies the area of their fall
TOKYO, February 20. /TASS/. North Korea has launched three projectiles, which appear to be ballistic missiles, Japan’s Coast Guard reported on Monday.
Japan’s Coast Guard added that the launched missiles have already landed, but did not specify the area where they fell.
Japan’s NHK broadcaster reported citing its own sources that the reportedly launched missiles fell beyond the boundaries of Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone.
On February 18, North Korea fired an intercontinental ballistic missile. According to the Japanese Defense Ministry’s previous reports, the missile landed into the sea within Japan’s exclusive economic zone, 200 kilometers (over 124 miles) to the west of the island of Hokkaido.
