UK Defense Ministry denies reports two servicemen were killed in Ukraine

The department reported that the British troops left Ukraine in February last year

LONDON, February 6. /TASS/. The UK Defense Ministry on Monday said reports that several UK active-duty servicemen were killed in Ukraine were erroneous.

The British personnel that trained Ukrainian forces as part of Operation Orbital left Ukraine in February 2022 and none of them was killed in Ukraine, the ministry said on Twitter. The training is now taking place in UK, it said.

The ministry was responding to news reports that said 234 US and UK military instructors had been killed in Ukraine since the start of the Russian special military operation.
