MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Ali Sabry considers visiting Moscow in 2023, Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Moscow Janitha Abeywickrema Liyanage told TASS on Friday.

"There is a request from Russia, so I conveyed this message to the foreign minister," she said adding that he would consider it.

Additionally, the diplomat said that some ministers of Sri Lanka were planning to come to Russia in the spring.

"There are some ministers who are planning to come this year. Our Transport, Highways and Media Minister [Bandula Gunawardane] will be here in March. Our Plantation and Industries Minister [Ramesh Pathirana] will be here in April," she said.
