KIEV, January 27. /TASS/. Poland will send to Ukraine 60 PT-91 Twardy tanks in addition to Leopard tanks promised earlier, Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Andrey Yermak said on Friday.

"Poland will send to Ukraine 60 PT-91 Twardy tanks together with 14 Leopard 2 tanks announced earlier," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier, Warsaw had already supplied Kiev with more than 200 T-72 tanks.

The PT-91 Twardy was developed in the 1990s based on a licensed version of a Soviet Т-72М1 tank.
