Exiled opposition leader gathering team of compatriots representing ‘other Ukraine’

Viktor Medvedchuk stressed that his goal is for the voice of this "other" Ukraine to be heard both in Russia and in the West

MOSCOW, January 26. /TASS/. Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk says that not everyone in Ukrainian society supports the anti-Russian course adopted by the country’s current leadership and following his release, he assembled a team of people representing "a different, non-Bandera Ukraine."

"I spent all these months putting together a team. A lot of people came from Kiev, many are now outside of Ukraine, including in Russia, Europe and Turkey. They are ready to continue to fight and make themselves heard," he said in an interview with the RT TV channel published on Thursday.

The politician stressed that his goal is for the voice of this "other" Ukraine to be heard both in Russia and in the West. "It does exist. The unity presented by Zelensky is invented out of thin air. This unity has been built on bayonets. <...> There are people who represent another Ukraine, a non-Bandera Ukraine that has nothing in common with the statements and political neo-Nazism promoted by Zelensky," he said.
