Germany, France used Minsk Agreements to secretly arm Kiev — Russian envoy
The Russian diplomat also underscored that this policy of Berlin and Paris has "put the entire Europe on a brink of an armed conflict"
VIENNA, January 18. /TASS/. Germany and France used the Minsk Agreements for secret military reinforcement of Ukraine, Konstantin Gavrilov, head of the Russian delegation to Vienna talks on military security and arms control, said during the meeting of the OSCE Forum on Security Cooperation Wednesday.
"Citizens of European states, the US and Canada must know that the ‘co-mediators’ of the peaceful settlement in Ukraine - Germany and France - used the Minsk Complex of Measures and the UN Security Council Resolution 2202 as a screen for secret diplomacy, aimed at anti-Russian military reinforcement of Kiev with direct assistance of NATO member states," Gavrilov said.
The Russian diplomat also underscored that this policy of Berlin and Paris has "put the entire Europe on a brink of an armed conflict."
On February 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the Minsk Agreements no longer exist after Russia’s recognition of DPR and LPR, but Russia is not to blame for that. According to the president, the Minsk Agreements were killed by the current Kiev authorities long before the recognition of the People’s Republics of Donbass.
