Ukrainian Security Service arrests residents of LPR’s Nevsky and Makeyevka — officer
"The Ukrainian Security Service began to arrest civilians for so-called complicity with the Russian armed forces, that is, just for the fact that people were receiving humanitarian aid and lump-sum allowances," Andrey Marochko said
LUGANSK, December 2. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) is arresting residents of the Lugansk People's Republic’s (LPR) Nevsky and Makeyevka settlements, temporarily controlled by the Ukrainian military, for receiving Russian humanitarian aid and lump-sum allowances, Andrey Marochko, an officer of the LPR People's Militia, told TASS on Friday.
"In the settlements of Nevsky and Makeyevka - this is in the occupied part of the LPR - mass repressions are ongoing. The Ukrainian Security Service began to arrest civilians for so-called complicity with the Russian armed forces, that is, just for the fact that people were receiving humanitarian aid and lump-sum allowances," he said, citing the data received from the LPR People's Militia’s intelligence.
Marochko noted that the reason for the arrest by Ukrainian services was also "the presence of relatives on the free LPR territory and other regions of Russia.".
