WARSAW, November 17. /TASS/. Nothing like traces of another missile’s fall has been found in Poland yet, President Andrzej Duda said upon arrival at the site where one missile is known to have fallen.
"For now, no traces of a second missile have been found in Poland’s territory," he said.
Polish and US experts are conducting onsite investigation. According to Duda, investigative actions in the field will last for several dozen hours.
"The specialists are collecting the missile’s fragments," he said.
On Tuesday, a missile fell in the village of Przewodow (Lublin Voivodeship), in eastern Poland on the border with Ukraine, killing two. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky blamed Russia and demanded that the West "take action."
However, the Polish authorities have concluded that the missile belonged to the Ukrainian air defense forces. Warsaw described the event as an accident. The US Department of State said the US administration was absolutely certain the Polish authorities’ conclusions were correct. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the missile had been launched with a Ukrainian S-300 system.
