Armenia initiates extraordinary CSTO Council meeting to discuss border situation

YEREVAN, October 26. /TASS/. Yerevan initiates an extraordinary meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council to discuss the situation on the border with Azerbaijan and expects it to be held in the near future, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday during his speech in parliament.

"As you know, we appealed to the CSTO, and a decision was made at a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council, as a result of which a group came to Armenia and observed the situation on the ground. In the near future we will initiate an extraordinary meeting of the CSTO Council to discuss this report. I hope the meeting will take place as soon as possible," he noted.
