Ukrainian President asked people to reduce electricity consumption as much as possible

KIEV, October 19. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said three of the country’s energy facilities were destroyed on Wednesday.

"There’s more damage to critical infrastructure. Three energy facilities have been destroyed over the past day," he said on Telegram.

Zelensky asked people to reduce electricity consumption as much as possible on Thursday. He said that would help to make scheduled power cuts shorter.

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Timoshenko said that all regions of the country will have temporary power outages from 7:00 to 23:00 (same time as in Moscow) on Thursday. Starting on Thursday, the use of street lighting will also be limited in cities.
