Russia records over 14,700 daily COVID-19 cases, 99 deaths — crisis center
As many as 1,750 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, down 4.1% from a day earlier
MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Russia’s COVID-19 case tally rose by 14,736 over the past day to 21,278,816, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Friday.
A day earlier, 15,477 daily cases were recorded.
As many as 1,750 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, down 4.1% from a day earlier. The number of hospitalized patients dropped in 43 regions, while in 33 regions the figure increased. The situation remained unchanged in nine regions.
Moscow’s COVID-19 cases rose by 1,167 over the past day versus 1,268 cases a day earlier, reaching 3,217,624, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. St. Petersburg’s COVID-19 cases increased by 963 over the past day versus 951 a day earlier, reaching 1,776,217.
COVID-19 recoveries
Russia’s COVID-19 recoveries rose by 27,520 over the past day, reaching 20,559,274, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters.
A day earlier some 30,793 patients recovered.
COVID-19 death toll
Russia’s COVID-19 death toll rose by 99 over the past day, reaching 388,709, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters.
