Turning point in Ukraine operation may come between November-February — Belarusian KGB

MINSK, October 11. /TASS/. A turning point in the special operation in Ukraine may come some time between November and February, Belarusian State Security Committee (KGB) Chairman Ivan Tertel said in a report on the current military and political situation in the country and overseas.

"If the Russian Federation carries out its mobilization campaign in an effective manner, providing its forces with the necessary technical equipment and advanced weapons, the fighting will reach a pivotal stage. According to our estimates, the turning point will come between November this year and February next year," Tertel pointed out, as cited by the BelTA news agency.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on October 10 that the leaders of NATO and a number of European countries were considering options to carry out aggression against Belarus, up to conducting a nuclear attack. According to him, Minsk and Moscow are about to mobilize a joint military force amid rising tensions on the western borders of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
