DONETSK, August 27. /TASS/. Five shells of the NATO 155mm artillery caliber were fired at the center of Donetsk by Ukrainian troops in less than an hour, the mission of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) to the joint Control and Coordination Center said on Saturday.
"Five shells of 155 mm caliber were fired at Donetsk (Voroshilovsky district)," the mission wrote on Telegram.
At least one shell fell on Pushkin Boulevard in front of the administration building of the head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, a TASS correspondent reported from the scene.
The Voroshilovsky district is the very center of the city, where a large number of administrative buildings are located, including the administration of the head of the DPR.
Earlier, the area was fired by the Ukrainian armed forces on August 23, as a result of which the administration buildings and the Central Hotel, where Russian journalists stay, were damaged.
