MOSCOW, June 21. /TASS/. Ukraine did not propose Russia to resume talks after a visit to Kiev by the leaders of Germany, France and Italy, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.

"No, there were not any [attempts to propose talks]," Peskov said, replying to a question.

Olaf Scholz, Emmanuel Macron, Mario Draghi and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis visited Kiev last week to discuss the situation around Ukraine with President Vladimir Zelensky. Germany’s Die Welt newspaper suggested the European leaders may have urged Zelensky to sit down at the negotiation table with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.
