YEREVAN, June 9. /TASS/. Armenia hopes for Russia’s help in having Armenian prisoners of war and other captives returned from Azerbaijan, the Caucasus nation’s prime minister, Nikol Pashinyan, said on Thursday.
"I would like to highlight the issue of prisoners of war, hostages and other people still held captive in Azerbaijan despite the November 9, 2020 trilateral commitments," Pashinyan said at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"We hope for Russian support in tackling this issue, so that this humanitarian issue would be finally resolved," the premier said.
