South Korea, US conduct missile launches in response to North Korea’s test

SEOUL, May 25. /TASS/. South Korea and the United States launched missiles on Wednesday in response to North Korea ballistic missile test earlier in the day, the Yonhap news agency reported citing South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff.

"In response to a provocative launch of a ballistic missile, Elephant Walk [exercises] were held, as well as joint launches of surface-to-surface missiles of the US and the Republic of Korea," Yonhap quoted JCS as saying in a statement.
