Aliyev sets up state commission on delimitation of border with Armenian

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels on Sunday

BAKU, May 23. /TASS/. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has set up a state commission on the delimitation of the border with Armenia, the corresponding resolution was posted on the president’s official website on Monday.

According to the document, Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev was appointed the commission’s chairman.

Members of the commission are a deputy prime minister of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, deputy ministers of foreign affairs, internal affairs, natural resources, agriculture, and defense, as well as deputy directors of the state security, foreign intelligence and border service, and heads of administrations of communities bordering Armenia.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels on Sunday. The meeting was mediated by European Council President Charles Michel. The sides agreed to organize the first session of border delimitation commissions in the coming days.
