ANKARA, April 22. /TASS/. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that he would like to hold telephone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky within days.
"I plan to hold telephone conversations with Putin and Zelensky within days," Erdogan told the media after Friday prayer.
Also, he voiced the intention to go ahead with the Istanbul process at the level of leaders.
"If they accept our invitation, we will hold a summit meeting in Istanbul," he added.
In the meantime, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that Putin had no plans for a telephone conversation with Erdogan.
