ANKARA, April 19. /TASS/. Turkey's armed forces neutralized 26 members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party PKK in a new cross-border operation in northern Iraq.

"According to preliminary data, 26 terrorists have been neutralized during the special Claw Castle operation," the Turkish National Defense Ministry said in a report released on Tuesday.

Ankara considers the PKK a terrorist organization and a major threat to national security.
