Bryansk Region cancels emergency situation regime in Klimovsk District
Regional Governor Alexander Bogomaz ordered creating a commission to evaluate damage, clean up the aftermath and help the victims
MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. The Bryansk regional government on Monday said it canceled the emergency situation regime in an area that came under fire from Ukraine.
"As of today, the emergency situation regime is canceled," the government said on VKontakte.
Regional Governor Alexander Bogomaz ordered creating a commission to evaluate damage, clean up the aftermath and help the victims.
It was earlier reported the commission established that two homes were completely destroyed while 83 more houses suffered damage and windows were shattered in some office buildings following a shelling of the Klimovo settlement by Ukraine on April 14. Seven people were hurt including a pregnant woman and a two-year-old child. A day earlier, a border outpost came under mortar fire from Ukraine. The Bryansk Region has introduced a yellow (high) level of terrorism threat.
