Belarusian border guards down quadcopter headed from Lithuania

MINSK, April 14. /TASS/. Belarusian border guards have downed an unmanned aerial vehicle on the border with Lithuania, which was headed to Belarus from the neighboring country, the Belarusian State Border Committee said in a statement on Telegram on Thursday.
"Border guards opened fire at the aerial target in order to prevent an airspace violation and thwart illegal activities. As a result, the quadcopter was downed," the statement reads.
According to the State Border Committee, the incident took place on the evening of April 13. The quadcopter, headed from Lithuania to Belarus, was spotted by a border patrol.
