BRUSSELS, March 24. /TASS/. US authorities will respond, should Russia use chemical weapons in Ukraine, US President Joe Biden said at a press conference in Brussels Thursday.

The US leader was asked whether, first, Russian President Vladimir Putin mulls using chemical weapons in Ukraine, and, second, how the US or NATO would respond in this case.

"I'm not going to give you intelligence data, number one," Biden said. "Number two, we would respond. We would respond if he uses it, and the nature of the response would depend on the nature of the use.".
