MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. The West assesses Russian President Vladimir Putin’s actions on the basis of their propaganda, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview to Russian and foreign mass media on Thursday.
"You prefer to describe what President Putin has been doing and how on the basis of what the Western propaganda says and writes about him. In recent weeks Putin has many times explained our position in detail. It is a reflection of the position of the Russian leadership and was developed in full conformity with the constitutional powers of Russia’s president and such bodies of power as the Foreign Ministry, Defense Ministry, special services and the Security Council," he said in response to a question from the US television network NBC.
Lavrov said that such work was being held on the permanent members, with Security Council members holding regular meetings.
