Adan Chavez also drew attention to "problems stemming from the US economic blockade"
MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. An industrial plant for manufacturing Kalashnikov automatic rifles will be built in Venezuela in the second half of 2022, Venezuelan presidential envoy, elder brother of the country's late president Hugo Chavez, Adan Chavez, told a news conference in Moscow on Tuesday.
"We will try to identify a joint solution on the issue. The plant is to be up and running in the second half of 2022," he said.
Chavez drew attention to "problems stemming from the US economic blockade."
"It limited the influx of funds that the country needs," he said. "With the help of our friends we managed to break the blockade, but it still generates a number of economic problems."
