WASHINGTON, August 3. /TASS/. A police officer has died after a shooting incident outside of the Pentagon, CNN reported on Tuesday, citing its sources.

Earlier, WDVM TV reported that several people were wounded on Tuesday in the shooting near the Pentagon.

The incident took place at the nearest subway station.
