BELGRADE, February 3. /TASS/. Serbia is seeking to develop strategic ties with Russia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Wednesday in a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

"President Vucic reaffirmed that Serbia intends to continue developing strategic relations with Russia and underlined that there are many more opportunities for economic cooperation than the ones that are being used. He said that special attention should be placed on boosting the bilateral trade turnover, completing current energy and infrastructure projects and launching new ones, further ramping up cooperation in technological development and innovations as well as military and technical cooperation," the Serbian leader’s office said in a statement.
