Czech president supports idea of using Russian Sputnik V vaccine in Czech Republic

PGARUE, January 31. /TASS/. Czech President Milos Zeman has supported the idea of the use of the Russian Sputnik V anti-coronavirus vaccine in the Czech Republic.
"Sputnik V is already being successfully used in Hungary," he told the Frekvence 1 radio station. "I have no objections is [Czech] specialists decide to use this preparation here [in the Czech Republic]."
According to Zeman, leading Czech epidemiologists, including former Health Minister Roman Prymula, have recommended Sputnik V for use in the country. He stressed that it is necessary to spare no effort to ensure sufficient supplies of anti-coronavirus vaccines. In his words, he is ready to ask help from Russia, if necessary.
