US Secretary of State mentioned the situation with detention of Alexey Navalny and the issue of unsanctioned rallies in Russia during the conversation with Ann Linde, the Department of State reported
WASHINGTON, January 30. /TASS/. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has talked over the phone with Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ann Linde focusing on the situation in Russia, the Department of State said in a statement on Friday. Linde will visit Moscow on February 2.
Secretary Blinken mentioned the situation with detention of Alexey Navalny and the issue of unsanctioned rallies in Russia during the conversation with Linde, the statement said.
The sides also discussed the situation in Ukraine, Belarus, and the Minsk Group Co-Chair process to help Armenia and Azerbaijan negotiate a political settlement.
