6.3-magnitude quake hits China’s Tibet

No reports on injuries or destruction emerged

TASS, July 23. An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude has been detected Thursday in the autonomous region of Tibet in southwest China, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.

According to the center, the quake’s epicenter was 475 km to northwest of Xigaze city at the depth of 10 km.

No reports on injuries or destruction emerged.
