TASS, October 9. Units of the Turkish army have entered the border town of Tell Abyad in the north of Syria’s Raaqa Province, the Syrian SANA news agency reported.

According to the agency, Turkish aviation and artillery earlier launched strikes on positions of Kurdish units near the town.

The residents relocated to neighboring communities of Derbasia and Amuda.
