Possible visit of Philippine president to Russia is pending

MOSCOW, September 12. /TASS/. President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte will possibly come to Russia, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov told journalists.

"The possible candidacies for participation in the Valdai Discussion Club’s forum are currently pending, including the possible arrival of the Philippine leader," Ushakov said. The Philippine secretary of foreign affairs said on Thursday that President Duterte will visit Russia in October.
