Viktor Medvedchuk said "if this position persists, the issue of peace will be postponed indefinitely"
KIEV, April 23./TASS/. The position of Ukraine’s President-elect Vladimir Zelensky on the status of Donbass and amnesty to participants in the conflict, may postpone peace in the region indefinitely, the political council chief of Ukraine’s Opposition Platform - For Life party, Viktor Medvedchuk, said on Tuesday.
"Two days before the election, Zelensky said ‘no’ in an interview with RBK in reply to the question whether he supported a special status for Donbass. [When asked] - Will you sign an amnesty? [He said] - No, I won’t sign it. This means that if this position persists, the issue of peace will be postponed indefinitely," Medvedchuk told 112 Ukraine television.

The leader of the Servant of the People political party, Vladimir Zelensky, has won a landslide 73.22% of the vote in the runoff presidential election, the Central Election Commission announced on Tuesday after all 100% ballot papers had been counted.
