Poroshenko scores less than 25% in presidential election after 10% of ballots counted

The voter turnout in the election has reached 62.07%

KIEV, April 22. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky has received 72.72% of the vote in the runoff stage of the Ukrainian presidential election, while his opponent Pyotr Poroshenko has scored 24.95%, Ukraine’s Central Election Commission said on counting 9.9% of electoral ballots.

So far, Poroshenko has taken the lead in only one region of Ukraine, the Lvov Region.

The voter turnout in the election has reached 62.07%, the commission informed.
