CARACAS, April 17. /TASS/. Venezuela is ready to accept humanitarian aid if its delivery has been coordinated with the legitimate government of the Bolivarian Republic, President Nicolas Maduro said on Wednesday.
"In accordance with the constitutionally legitimate government of Venezuela, which I lead, any humanitarian assistance is welcome," Maduro told state television.
Venezuela receives medicines every week "in accordance with international protocols," he added.
CNN earlier reported that the first plane of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has flew to Caracas from Panama with humanitarian aid, the delivery of which was coordinated on April 10.
