Six civilians and fiver Syrian servicemen were killed in the Aleppo shelling by militants
MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. Eleven people were killed in shellings of Syria's Aleppo, including six civilians and five Syrian servicemen, head of the Russian Center for reconciliation of the conflicting sides in Syria Viktor Kupchishin told reporters on Monday.
"In a shelling of the Al Hamdaniya district in Aleppo by illegal armed groups, six civilians and five servicemen of the armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic were killed," Kupchishin said.
Militants have also shelled the settlement of Sanjeka in the province of Latakia over the last 24 hours, he added.
SANA news agency reported on Sunday that at least 11 people died and 10 others were injured in the shelling of Aleppo. SANA cited a source in the police as saying that the shelling hit the city market.
