Three agreements expected following talks between Putin and Erdogan

During the talks, trade, economic issues, and other topics are expected to be discussed, including international and regional issues

MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. Three bilateral documents are expected to be signed on Monday in the Kremlin following the talks between the presidents of Russia and Turkey - Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish leader said.

"Today three documents will be signed between our countries, three agreements. Thus, we will take another step for the future of our countries," Erdogan said.

According to him, during the talks on Monday, trade, economic issues, and other topics will be discussed, including international and regional issues.

He noted that last year the trade turnover between the two countries grew by 15%, and recalled that earlier the countries has set a goal to bring the figure to $100 bln.

The Turkish President also called joint fight against terrorist groups that pose a threat to the region an important part of Russian-Turkish cooperation. "This is especially true of the steps that we have already taken and will take in the Syrian direction. I believe that our meeting today is of great importance in this regard," Erdogan said. According to him, the leaders will also assess the contacts between ministers of the two countries.
