MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump believes that Chairman of the US House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Adam Schiff and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, who have launched a new investigation against him, are "cold crazy," as he himself wrote on Twitter.

On Monday, the US House Judiciary Committee launched a new investigation into Trump’s election campaign and the activities of his team following his election win, as well as into Trump’s businesses. According to CNN, the Judiciary Committee "was sending letters seeking information and documents from more than 80 groups, organizations and individuals, as part of its sweeping investigation into President Donald Trump's campaign, businesses, transition and administration."

The Judiciary Committee opened the probe at a time when another investigation into Russia’s alleged interferences into the 2016 US presidential election, conducted by special counsel Robert Mueller, is about to come to an end. Trump and key members of his team have been repeatedly rejecting all accusations concerning collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Moscow has also been refuting these allegations.

On Tuesday, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that all probes into the alleged Russian influence on Trump had yielded nothing but laughable results. When asked to comment on the new investigation, Peskov said: "We have no wish to make comments on every investigation initiated by certain groups of US legislators. By and large, this is possibly none of our business. It is an entirely US affair.".
