"Illegal armed groups operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone continue to violate the ceasefire regime. Thus, during the day, three shelling attacks by militants were reported from the settlement of Nahshebba in the Latakia governorate, and from Aleppo’s southwestern suburb and its Suqqari neighborhood," he said.
He also said that on January 13 officers of the Russian military police organized patrolling along the rear border of the five-kilometer buffer zone in Manbij.
Apart from that, work is continued to amnesty people dodging military service. Thus, as of January 12, a total of 24,893 people have been amnestied, he added.
"Throughout the day, officers of the Russian reconciliation center conducted one humanitarian operation in the settlement of Al-Harra in the Daraa governorate. A total of 500 bags with food products were handed out to civilians. In all, since the beginning of the reconciliation process, the Russian center has conducted 2,041 humanitarian operations. The overall weight of humanitarian cargoes has reached 3,216.9 tonnes," Solomatin said.
The Russian reconciliation center continues to fulfill assigned tasks after the completion of the military campaign in Syria. The center’s officers regularly travel around the country's liberated areas to assess the humanitarian situation. The main efforts of the Russian military are now focused on assistance to the refugees returning to their homes.
