Delegates from nine countries to attend Donetsk leader’s inauguration ceremony
On November 11, the DPR held the elections of the republic’s head
DONETSK, November 20. /TASS/. More than 60 delegates from nine countries on Tuesday will take part in an inauguration ceremony of Denis Pushilin, the newly-elected head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, the republic’s Foreign Ministry said.
"The DPR leader’s inauguration ceremony will be attended by official delegations from nine countries," the ministry told the Donetsk News Agency. "Among them will be more than 60 guests from Russia, the Lugansk People’s Republic, South Ossetia, Abkhazia and also from Belgium, Germany, France, Finland and Spain."
Among the official guests will be Crimean Republic Head Sergei Aksyonov, State Duma (lower house) MPs Andrei Kozenko and Kazbek Taysaev, Leader of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic Leonid Pasechnik, South Ossetian President Anatoly Bibilov, Abkhazia’s Prime Minister Valery Bganba and others.
On November 11, the DPR held the elections of the republic’s head. Five candidates ran to become the DPR’s leader. Denis Pushilin, a former parliament speaker and the DPR’s envoy to the Minsk talks, won a landslide victory, securing 60.85% of the vote.
