UN committee backs Russia’s draft resolution on elimination of racism, xenophobia

A total of 130 countries voted in favor of it
UNITED NATIONS, November 15./TASS/. The United Nations General Assembly Third Committee passed at a session on Thursday Russia’s draft resolution on elimination of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.
A total of 130 countries voted to support the resolution, 51 states abstained and only two countries - the US and Ukraine, voted against it.
The resolution, in particular, expressed deep concern over glorification in any form of the Nazi movement, neo-Nazism and former members of the Waffen-SS.
