Gaza militants fired over 300 rockets and mortars at Israel on Monday

MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. /TASS/. At least Israeli was killed in Gaza rocket fire, the Haaretz newspaper reported on Tuesday.

"An Israeli man aged around 40 was killed after his house was hit by a rocket in the southern Israeli town Ashkelon late Monday night. Two women who were in the same building at the time of the incident are said to be in critical conditions," the newspaper said.

On Monday militants in Gaza fired rockets and mortars at Israel. On November 11, Israel carried out a military operaiton in the south of Gaza. Seven members of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas organization that controls the Gaza Strip, were killed in the raid, including one commander.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that fighter jets, military helicopters, drones and tanks delivered air strikes at over 70 military targets of Hamas and Islamic Jihad groups in Gaza. According to IDF, Gaza militants fired over 300 rockets and mortars at Israel.

The health ministry in Gaza says three Palestinians were killed and 15 more were injured. According to Israel's emergency service Magen David Adom, 53 people were injured in Israel.
