Putin, Bolton reach preliminary arrangement on Russia-US summit, says Kremlin aide
The presidents are expected to hold a bilateral meeting after the November 11 festivities in Paris
MOSCOW, October 23./TASS/. During his upcoming trip to Paris, Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with his US counterpart Donald Trump, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said on Tuesday.
"A preliminary agreement on the possibility of contacts between the two presidents in Paris during events marking centenary of the end of WWI was reached during consultations of (US National Security Adviser John) Bolton with representatives from our foreign policy and military-political team. Our president confirmed this arrangement during his talks with Bolton," Ushakov told reporters.
He said that under the plans "the presidents will hold a bilateral meeting" after festivities in Paris. He said the summit is planned for November 11. Ushakov said the length of the talks depends on the presidents. "This will be a normal bilateral meeting," he added.
