The Morandi Bridge collapsed in the northern Italian city of Genoa. Both sides of the highway fell. Sources from the Italian Interior Ministry have confirmed the death of 22 people. According to Italian media, there were about 20 cars on the bridge at the moment. The rescue operation is underway.
