The Russian embassy in the Central African Republic does not have exact data on the identity and the nationality of those killed
MOSCOW, July 31. /TASS/. Russia’s embassy in the Central African Republic (CAR) is in contact with the local law-enforcement agencies to clarify the issue with three killed individuals who are presumably Russian citizens, spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry of Russia Maria Zakharova said on Tuesday.
"According to preliminary information received from the local authorities, the bodies of three individuals, presumably Russians, have been found in the CAR. The Russian embassy is in contact with the CAR law-enforcement agencies to clarify the issue with the Russian citizenship [of those killed]," the diplomat said.
As TASS reported earlier, the Russian embassy in the Central African Republic does not have exact data on the identity and the nationality of those killed because their personal documents have not yet been found and only the press cards of the Russia-based Izvestia news outlet have been discovered on two of them while there is no information about the third killed person.
The Izvestia press office has stated that none of its employees has stayed on the territory of the Central African Republic lately.
