HELSINKI, July 13. /TASS/. The government of Finland has made a decision to introduce border control for four days due to the Russia-US summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, the government’s press service informed on Friday.
The control has been introduced at 12:00 local time (the same as Moscow time) on Friday, July 13. It will last until 12:00 on Tuesday, July 17.
This measure is introduced in order to block entrance to the country for those who might present a threat to security and public order in relation to the presidents’ visit.
Earlier, the Kremlin press service informed that the Putin-Trump summit would take place on July 16. According to Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, both countries’ leaders will discuss several difficult issues, including Syria.
