The Georgian president says he is ready for dialogue with the Russian president
TBILISI, May 16. /TASS/. Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili stated on Wednesday that he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said it at a meeting with Tbilisi students aired by local TV company Rustavi-2.
Margvelashvili noted that he is "ready for rational dialogue with the Russian president with regard to Georgia’s state interests."
"I have always said and now I repeat that I am ready for rational dialogue with the Russian president, and I think that it is possible to discuss solutions to vital problems accumulated in the relations between the two countries through this dialogue," the president said.
