Israeli prime minister confirms he will attend Moscow’s Victory Day Parade
Apart from that, Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks on the same day
TEL AVIV, May 6./TASS/. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Sunday that he will attend Moscow’s Victory Day Parade on May 9.
"On Wednesday, I will meet in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin and will attend the parade devoted to victory over Nazi Germany," the prime minister told a government session.
The Israeli prime minister will pay a working visit to Moscow on May 9, the Kremlin said on Saturday.
"He was invited to [watch] a military parade devoted to the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War," the statement said.
Apart from that, the Israeli prime minister and the Russian president will hold talks on the same day. On April 30, Putin and Netanyahu had a phone conversation and among other issues agreed on future personal contacts.
